All for Tea & Tea for all

February 21st, 2026

Oakdale Library, 1010 Heron Ave N, Oakdale, MN 55128

Non-Profit News: Currently, we are not accepting donations. We need to open a bank account first. We have plans for some amazing things but we will be taking each action slowly to make sure we do it right.

We focused a bit differently this meeting. Instead of simply smelling and tasting we dove deep into tasting notes. This was learning for me to as this was the first time I taught on this topic. Also forgot a few key items… Thank you to everyone for bearing with me and saving my butt with the teapot!

Taking tea notes are a mindful practice that can be applied to any tea. It’s a great way to remember teas you love or ones you want to make sure to avoid in the future. We used a professional cupping tasting note and one from Being Tea. There are many tasting notes to be found online or you can even make your own!

Teas we drank:

  1. Warrior Punch – Bellasia Tea
  2. Nirvana – TeaTiff
  3. H’mong Kings – Rakkasan Tea Co. (We smelled it first, then drank an over brewed version, and lastly did a fairly normal brew.)
  4. Secret Garden Alishan – Floating Leaves
  5. China Mist – Indigo Tea Co
  6. Purple Dragon Berry – ORTea

NEXT MEETING:

Saturday March 14th, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Cha-Ami Japanese Cultural Center, 2855 Anthony Ln S # B5, St Anthony, MN 55418
