All for Tea & Tea for all

December 20th, 2025

5280 Grandview Square, Edina, MN 55436

Our December gathering was quite a bit smaller but we found this to be a good number. In the future, if we have larger groups I think splitting into smaller groups will make things more relaxed. We will experiment and see how things work. If anyone has suggestions let us know!

Non-Profit News: We have applied for 501(c)(3) status and are awaiting IRS determination. Our admission was accepted and now we wait for full approval.

Our focus this session was on discovering and tasting the six types of tea. For those reading this that are unaware, the six types of tea are: White, Yellow, Green, Oolong, Black, and Dark. I’ve listed these teas in the order of which they are least to most processed… kinda. This is very, very, very basic. There are many steps and the general steps are the same for each type, however, each tea farmer/master can change things how they see fit.

After the education section we bounced around trying many other teas. Lastly, I apologize I completely forgot to take the group photo until we were packing up! We are missing people in this photo.

Teas we drank:

  1. Cloud Catcher – Bellasia Tea
  2. Pairing: Yamabuki Nadeshiko (Dark)- Osada Tea vs Kabusecha (Green) – TeaTiff
  3. Pairing: Huoshan Huangya (Yellow)- Oretea vs Tornike’s Wild Caucasus (Black) – Rakkasan Tea Co
  4. Pairing: Nirvana (White Tea) – TeaTiff vs Dong Ding (Oolong) – TeaTiff
  5. Yinghong #9 Guangdong
  6. Tamchau, DaLak with homegrown pink lemon
  7. Red, White, & Green – Bardo
  8. Blood Moon Eclipse – Night Rituals Occult

Next Meeting: January 31st, 10 am. Showtime Studio and Coffee Address: 2700 Lexington Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113
