All for Tea & Tea for all

October 2025 Tea meeting

October 25th, 2025. Saturday. 10 am

Saint Paul Public Library – Merriam Park. 1831 Marshall Ave, St Paul, MN 55104

If you ever run into someone who says to you, “I don’t like tea.” Be sure to ask them what they have tried. Many people who say that, generally, have only tried bagged tea or simply haven’t experienced a properly brewed cup of tea. With thousands of variations (not to mention tisanes) there is no way someone can reply to you, “I’ve tried it all.” From season to season and year to year tea changes. Only those with incredibly sensitive palates will be able to spot the tiny differences but it is those differences that I hope to convey to those who don’t know the wide world of tea.

Speaking of wide world, can you spot the tisane in the picture above? Hint: There is only one tisane. Answer will be below.

This weekend’s meeting was filled with amazing teas. We tasted our final box of tea from Davidson’s Organics first. I steeped it in a Hario Cold Brew Container and sipped on it while we discussed a few nonprofit thoughts and picked the next meeting date. Then we moved onto the first educational piece of the day. We started off by passing around the dry leaf in two different containers. We then brewed the tea and sipped on both at separate times. Lastly, we took a look at the wet leaf. Through all of this I had them determine which was which after showing them the packaging. Our next educational piece was on Pu er. We learned some amazing facts from FatBat Puer.

If you are a tea company and you have tea you would like to share at the meetings please feel free to come to a meeting or send us a message.
