Plymouth Library, 15700 36th Avenue North, Plymouth, MN 55446
It has officially been one year since the MN Tea Society began meeting. We went from two people at the first meeting to growing to at least five at each meeting. We are still in the process of becoming a nonprofit, but we are taking our time as we want to make sure we do things correctly.
This library did not allow us to bring in our electric kettles, so I asked people to bring hot water. If you do not own a jug that can hold hot water, I highly recommend getting one. They are extremely helpful!
We started off this session with a matcha presentation. I needed some help, so I really appreciated everyone’s advice. After that, we moved into our usual open share format. We tasted many wonderful teas.
Tea we drank:
- Herbal Chai – Davidson’s Tea
- Matcha – E&E Tea
- Matcha – Ooika
- Imperial Pearls Oolong – Mountain Tea
- Alishan Oolong – Chang Shun Tea. Given directly from a farmer to one of the guests’ relatives
- Genmaicha Powder – Obubu Tea

Next Meeting: Saturday, 10 am, August 9th, Highland Park Community Center and Library, 1974 Ford Pkwy, St Paul, MN 55116.
